It's like the difference between a big mall and a small bazaar. Small bazaar's owners think they do it well but if they want to sell more and be competitive they need a better image. It's the same for online shops. Anyway, it is important to say that image it's not the only factor. First and foremost you have to create value with your products/services. Most people don’t realize (until they sell nothing) that you have to have a really great design to sell stuff — something funny or graphically beautiful. Just listing a bunch of stuff with a bland logo is not enough to sell anything.
