How to get better results from Keywords selection right now!

Choosing the right keywords for your headlines and content is a powerful way to improve your website’s visibility on search engines results. And if you are trying to make money from a website it’s good to try to have good scores on keywords that are important for your business.

SEO blogs and websites tell you that the best way to choose your keywords is by using keyword selection tools like Overture. That’s good advice and you should absolutely follow it, but most desired keywords are already occupied by well established websites, so maybe you will have a hard time trying to displace current leaders and reaching the first page of search engine results.

How to overcome this difficulty? Using this very simple technique to get better results thanks to your keywords: keep in mind that users ask real questions to search engines.

What do I mean with real questions? I mean that users, instead of searching just for “make money online” search for “how can I make money online” or “give me ways to make money online“. This happens a lot with more inexperienced, casual users instead of tech-savvy people who usually look just for keywords on search engines, and we know that inexperienced users are the most on the net so trying to reach them is worth the effort if you are trying to expand your users base.

Examples of real questions that users have asked to search engines and that have arrived on this blog are “how to make money within 2 days” and “how can I reach delicious popular page“, clearly personal questions instead of just keyword searching.

So how can you use this technique to get better results on search engines for your websites? Well, you should choose your keywords for headlines and content thinking as a reader, and trying to figure out what kind of questions will they ask to search engines when searching for content like yours. This way you will get good results for keywords that used alone will not give you any kind of traffic, but used in the context of a question will put you in the first page of search engine results.

I like how the Overture keyword selector tool works okay, but it always seems awfully slow. Does anyone know of any alternitives?
