About RobertoAlamos.com

RobertoAlamos.com is operated by me, your host, Roberto Alamos Moreno. This is a website where I want to share with you some techniques, thoughts and learned lessons about how to make money online.

My idea, and how this blog is different from all the other blogs that are talking about this same topic, is that here you will find information on how to make money online considering all the possibilities, not just how to make monet with a blog increasing your blog’s traffic, pagerank or how to write better post titles.

Not all the people in the net has writing talent, but that shouldn’t keep them to try to make a living online. You just have to know what skills do you have and what, among all of them, you have to leverage and how to do it. The mission of this blog is to help you to do this, that’s why this is the place to learn how to make money online.

About Roberto Alamos Moreno

I’m a 24 years old young man from Antofagasta, Chile. Antofagasta is located in the Atacama desert, the driest desert in the world, but I don’t know any other place with such a great weather :) here never rains and we have really good temperatures (not too-high, not too-low), we live in eternal spring.

I have a Mathematics degree from UCN but I work exclusively on IT executive and technical tasks. I enjoy a lot programming web applications, and up to this date I have completed many web projects, being the most important the following ones:

  • Confianze Analyze (https://beta.confianze.com). A vulnerability assessment tool for the chilean market…
  • The AdCloud (http://www.theadcloud.com). An experiment I made on the web2.0 field… whatever it means to you…
  • AFRA Extranet. An extranet system for a lawyer’s bureau I worked on until some time ago.

I have worked as a remote freelance programmer for some time, but I’m currently working full time as Confianze’s CTO and all my earnings come from diverse jobs made on the net (including the CTO one). So I’m pretty sure I know what I’m talking about when I write about how to make money online :).

On the technical side I have contributed my $0.2 to the programmers community by writing a computer programming article and some software libraries for the Perl programming language that you can find here:

and I also maintain Coderbattery.com, a blog dedicated to provide developers with resources to empower their pratice of software development.

Besides those pretty technical things, I enjoy a very happy ‘real life’. I live with my wife Jocelyn and our cat Tigretón. Jocelyn and me are married since some months ago and we are enjoying a marvelous life living and growing together every day, step by step :)On the hobbies side, I enjoy a lot playing table tennis, and I believe that table tennis will be a very popular sport in the following years! Just be prepared for the chinese invasion ;). I also love my Asterix’s comic books collection. I have all of them but the last 2 because they have not arrived to Chile yet (and no, through internet it’s too expensive for just two comic books).

I started this blog some months ago with the hope of sharing with everybody my ideas about religion and how we can be close to God on our time. But after some time, and not so many posts, I decided I’m just too young to write about this topic, so I left that theme on the side by now (and hoping to write about it again in some years) and decided to write about how to make money online because I have done in the past and I’m currently doing it :)
